VERSATILE HAULM TOPPER FOR CUTTING ONION HAULM
The VSS AMAC Onion haulm topper (LKU) is used for cutting onion haulm. This sturdy two-wheel construction is made standard for front attachments, but can also be optionally attached at the rear or even a combination of front and rear attachments. The frame and hood of the LKU are powder coated instead of painted. Powder coating protects the machine from the acid juices of the onions and ensures that haulm topper requires less maintenance, and thus has a longer life.
OPTIONAL AUTOMATIC DEPTH CONTROL
The depth of the LKU is adjustable by two manually adjustable wheels. Prefer automatic depth control? Optional depth control is also available hydraulically and automatically. With automatic depth control, you have a comprehensive but simple control box with potentiometers. You can even adjust the depth control from the cab.
VERY LOW MAINTENANCE MACHINE
Perform maintenance on the machine? This is easy to execute because of the large single cap. On the front and sides of the machine are three valves in the rubber, which adjust the haulm discharge flow. An additional advantage of these three valves in the rubber is that they make maintenance even easier.
BETTER FRAGMENTATION OF ONION FOLIAGE
The angle of the blade holders is so designed that they provide great suction. Due to the high suction, the foliage of the onions is pulled up better before cutting. The four interchangeable blades per blade rotor ensure better shredding of onion leaves. Unlike other agricultural machines in the market, the blades of the VSS AMAC Onion haulm topper are driven by power belts. This is a multi-profile v-belt that greatly improves the life of the drive. In addition, this method of propulsion also prevents possible slippage. The LKU comes standard with front lighting and marker signs in LED.
