In potato harvesting technology, we supply the following products under brand name VSS AMAC: Potato haulm toppers, various kinds of Stock potato harvesters and sweet potato harvesters.
Stock harvesting of potatoes has become more common in recent years. The product is lifted and placed back on the land in adjacent rows (side deposit) or windrow (center deposit), and later loaded. The potatoes are given time to dry and chances of disease contamination are significantly reduced. Stock potato harvesting is done for both seed potatoes and ware potatoes. Quality improvement and capacity increase are the main reasons for choosing stock harvesting.

CARRIED AND TRAILED STOCK HARVESTERS WITH VARIOUS OPTIONS

VSS AMAC stock harvesters come in carried and trailed versions. Each machine has a wide range of options, so there is always a suitable solution for every product and situation.
Version-dependent, there are several options for product intake, product handling, product cleaning and product deposition. Is increasing capacity an important factor? Then choose a stock harvester with side deposit. This deposits the product in the adjacent – yet to be harvested – rows. The harvester with loader then takes double the number of rows. It is also possible to equip the machine with both side deposit and center deposit.
