What is the best way to evenly distribute pressure from the rear axle and the front axle of the tractor? VSS Machinebouw set to work on this question, which resulted in the VSS Agro Pressure Roller HD. The machine has hydraulic pressure controland can therefore relieve the rear or front axle. Like the VSS Agro Pressure Roller, this variant also has a feed-through for the PTO. In other words, a hitch for any implements. The system is designed so that the coupling can be used with any type and brand of tractor or implement.
THE OPERATION OF THE VSS AGRO PRESSURE ROLLER HD
The machine can be equipped with a Farmflex roller or steel rings. You regulate the pressure on the cylinders by means of a pressure control valve. The pressure can be read on the built-in pressure gauge. To keep the machine running smoothly over the plot, the pressure roller is fitted with a nitrogen accumulator. Together with the spindle adjustment of the top linkage point, this ensures short and easy coupling to the tractor. Like the standard pressure roller, the HD variant is also equipped with Category 3 catch hooks. This allows easy attachment of implements weighing up to 2,750 kg.
