In recent years, VSS Machinebouw has developed a number of customer-specific harvesters in-house for special crops. These are mainly machines for harvesting and loading first-year onion sets. MACHINES ALREADY BUILT
We have already designed and manufactured several machines for the benefit of special crops. Such as the VSS AMAC VRU XL in various track and working widths. This machine is specially designed for
digging
of first-year onion sets. A feature of this machine is its large screening capacity and 9 hydraulic beaters that are hydraulically adjustable in intensity. Another specialty machine is the VSS AMAC UL 1480 XL for the
loading
of first-year onion sets. This machine has its own hydraulic system, three screening mats and a dense lightweight conveyor belt. Then the VSS AMAC VRA 1700: a purpose-built machine for harvesting stalked potatoes in small boxes, for trial fields. This harvester has a box rail for filling seed potatoes.
