VSS AGRO FRONT FURROW PACKER
FOR PROCESSING LIGHTER SOIL TYPES IN A SINGLE PASS
The VSS Agro Front Furrow Packer, like the VSS Agro Furrow Press, is specially developed for tilling lighter soil types. The 700-millimeter diameter packer rings accurately level the light plough cut. The machine can be used either on the left or right side of the tractor. As standard, we provide the front packer with LED width lighting. Three types are available for respectively three, four and five plough cutters. Other working widths are available upon request.
OPERATION OF THE MACHINE
The VSS Agro Front Furrow Packer is mounted in the front of the tractor. This enables ploughing and plough cutting in one operation. How does the machine actually work? A rolling cylinder rolls the packer rings top-down from left to right. This allows you to work on both sides of the tractor. The centre distance between the frame and packer rings of the packer is manually adjustable in width. During transport, you secure the rolling mechanism with a mechanical transport block.
ADVANTAGES OF THE VSS AGRO FRONT FURROW PACKER
Unlike most front packers on the market, you can use the machine on both sides of the tractor. As a result, you do not lose valuable time disconnecting and connecting the furrow packer. In addition, tilling the soil with the front furrow packer temporarily slows capillary action. This benefits the moisture content in the soil layer to be sown in. Thus, you create better germination conditions for the seeds, resulting in an even emergence after sowing.

- Cross-kill rings Ø550mm instead of discs
- Hydraulic sideshift instead of manual adjustment
