VSS Machinebouw participates in Luctor business tournament
Months of training, healthy eating (okay, okay we didn’t exactly skip Friday snack day…) and plenty of reserve players. That had to pay off at the Luctor Heinkenszand football club‘s business tournament. The football tournament that has become a tradition. In any case, one in which VSS Machinebouw is always happy to participate.

Armed with studded shoes, shin guards and VSS outfits, our dream team headed to Heinkenszand to give the other teams in Pool D a hard time. Apart from VSS Machinebouw, pool D consisted of the following companies: ChipTuning Zeeland, De Jager-Tolhoek, Spectrum Schildersbedrijf, Lamb Weston Meijer and Imarco. With fine passing here and there and some nice goals, things went reasonably well for our football players. A number of teams were unfortunately better. The final score? VSS Machinebouw eventually won two of the five matches in the pool. Unfortunately, not enough to advance to the eighth finals, but at least the “VSS honour” was upheld by our sporting ladies and gentlemen. The beers afterwards were well deserved and tasted good. On to revenge next year at Luctor’s business tournament!
